We helped people who had lost everything in the floods in Mozambique on several occasions; in the districts of Caia, Mutarara, Tambara, and Buzi, we distributed food, blankets, plastic sheeting, etc.
A few years ago, the situation in Zimbabwe was dire; most shops were closed, there was hardly any food left to buy in the supermarkets that were still open (or anywhere else for that matter), hospitals and schools were closed, people were being murdered, women raped... We were provided with the funds to bring several trucks full of food to Zimbabwe, which we distributed to orphans, widows, and the sick. It took a few miracles to get the food across the border, but everything arrived where it was supposed to, for which we are very grateful.
After the aid transports, we brought seeds to Zimbabwe and launched self-help projects in many cities and rural areas in cooperation with local communities, which went very well.
