School attendance is compulsory here, but if parents do not send their children to school, there are no consequences. Our neighborhood is very poor, and many parents do not care whether their children go to school or not; they prefer to spend what little money they have on alcohol, etc. So we pay the children's school fees and all their school supplies, help them with their homework, and support them in any other way we can.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Von 2005 bis 2013 unterst\u00fctzten wir in Zusammenarbeit mit Iris Ministries tausende von Waisenkindern, die in mosambikanischen Familien leben.
